Annual Outlook Conference to Explore “Transportation”

The 2017 Economic Outlook Conference at UNCW will focus on the transportation industry and its importance to regional business growth.

The conference, sponsored annually by the Swain Center for Executive and Professional Education in the Cameron School of Business, will feature a panel discussion with Julie A. Wilsey, Director of the Wilmington International Airport; Danny McComas, Member of the NC Board of Transportation; and Paul Cozza, Executive Director of the NC State Ports Authority.

During the conference, UNCW economists Adam Jones and Tom Simpson will provide regional and national economic forecasts. Brian Daley, who serves as the managing director and portfolio manager equity research head at U.S. Trust, Bank America Private Wealth Management, will also share his expertise with attendees.

The conference will begin with a continental breakfast at 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 5 in the Burney Center. The panel discussion and economic forecast presentations will follow, with the program concluding by 9:45 a.m. Tickets are $40 per person or $250 for a table of eight.
