On Tuesday, March 21, UNCW will hold its biggest giving challenge yet.

The goal is to reach 1,000 donors during “Give More in 24,” the fourth annual 24-hour giving challenge. If the goal is met, a $75,000 challenge gift will be unlocked.

From 8 a.m. on March 21 through 8 a.m. on March 22, alumni, students, parents, employees and friends can give any amount to any area of the university. In addition, a variety of competitions will give participants the opportunity to direct challenge funds if the donor goal is met.

Ways to give during the challenge:

- Online – www.uncw.edu/24  

- Call 910.962.7613

- Complete an official gift form and return it to King Hall, Room 209 by 8 a.m. on March 22

- Faculty/staff payroll deduction (electronic form available via www.uncw.edu/24)

Visit uncw.edu/24 for additional information and for hourly progress updates. Social media users can connect with one another and share stories and images using #UNCW24. Stay tuned to UNCW’s Facebook page where final results will be posted on March 22.

Last year, a total of $275,964.38 was raised in gifts and pledges, plus $60,000 in challenge gifts.
