The campus and community rallied around the UNCW men’s basketball team during their second straight NCAA Tournament appearance on Thursday. 

The 12^th-seeded Seahawks’ season came to a close with a 76-71 loss to the 5th-seeded University of Virginia Cavaliers at Amway Arena in Orlando, Fla.

Third-year UNCW Head Coach Kevin Keatts and his club captured their third consecutive CAA regular season crown in early March and locked up the program's first back-to-back titles since 2002 and 2003.

The championship team brought school spirit to a fever pitch. Game attendance, Seahawk Club memberships and contributions are all on the rise.
