The United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has honored the UNCW men's and women's cross country teams as All-Academic Teams for the 2016 season.

To be eligible for the honor, teams must compile a minimum 3.00 grade point average and start at least five runners in the NCAA Regionals. Read more about the academic honor at uncwsports.com.
