"Leave of absence" means a student did not return to UNCW after attending the previous semester (excluding summer). For example, you will be active if you attend in fall, leave for the spring, and want to return for the next fall semester.
Students who are absent from the university for more than one semester (excluding summer terms) are considered inactive.
If you do not enroll for two consecutive semesters (excluding summer), you must seek readmission from the Admissions Office.

To register for classes you must first meet with your academic advisor. They will give you a "registration PIN," which you will need to register for classes. To make an appointment for advising, please contact your major department.
