- Provide high-quality, energizing educational development opportunities and resources focused on evidence-based and scholarly-informed pedagogical approaches and strategies
- Leverage faculty expertise and experience to promote interdisciplinarity and effective teaching
- Encourage and facilitate deliberate improvement and assessment of course content and methods of instruction, appreciating the learning, growth, and change processes involved
- Value, integrate, engage in, and advance the scholarship of teaching and learning (SoTL)
- Resource faculty to advance innovative projects and initiatives
- Promote student and instructor well-being for a flourishing learning environment
- Recognize the importance of appreciation and celebration for effective teaching
- Continuously engage in organizational evaluation of CTE's operations, campus communication, and offerings in ways that are both forward-looking and responsive
