All members and friends of the Academic Advising Council community are welcome.

As a member of the AAC, I'm able to network with others on campus who have a vested interest in academic advising and promoting student success. I highly recommend getting involved!

UNCW'S AAC Advising Conference:

September 6, 2024

The conference will be held in the Watson College of Education with the theme “Advising Matters: Navigating in a Sea of Change”

Schedule of Events:

8:30-9am – Breakfast (provided)

9:00-9:10- Welcome

9:10-10:00am – State of Academic Advising

10:10-11am – Breakout session 1

11:10am-Noon – Plenary Session

Noon-1pm – lunch (provided)

1:00-1:50pm – Advising Shop Introductions

2:00-2:50pm – Breakout session 2

3:00-3:45pm - Closing and Awards
