PeopleAdmin Search Committee Training
This training is designed to equip you with the knowledge and tools necessary to conduct a thorough, fair, and effective search process for SHRA and EHRA Non-Faculty recruitments.
As a member of the search committee, your role is crucial in identifying and selecting the best candidates who will contribute to the success of our campus community. Throughout this session, we will cover the key stages of the search process, including legal and ethical considerations. This training will also review best practices for interviewing and selecting candidates as it relates to their knowledge, skills and abilities, eliminating any preconceived notions that could affect their decision making during the recruitment process.
By the end of this training, you will be prepared to navigate the search process with confidence and integrity, ensuring that we attract and retain top talent that aligns with our institutional values and goals.

This training must be completed once per fiscal year. You have the option to take this training through a virtual zoom classroom online through Percipio.
After completing the training, you will need to acknowledge the confidentiality agreement.
Once you have completed the training, you will need to acknowledge the confidentiality agreement and email hrsearch@uncw.edu with:
- Position number
- Job Title
- Position Type: SHRA or EHRA
