UNCW’s Office of University Relations and Information Technology Services work together to ensure that the UNCW website is supported, developed and maintained according to the highest standards. Our partnership ensures that the website remains an effective tool for students, faculty, staff and the broader community.
What We Do
Office of University Relations
UNCW's Office of University Relations is responsible for general oversight and organization of content for the university website.
University Relations also assists UNCW web content contributors in developing their messages and presenting information on divisional or departmental websites to ensure that visitors enjoy a smooth navigation experience and readily find the information they need.
Information Technology Services
UNCW's Information Technology Services manages the university web server and maintenance. They also oversee the site design and functionality. In addition, they are responsible for the administration of our analytics and content management system, Cascade, and providing training and technical support.
ITS also assists UNCW web content contributors in optimizing images, accessibility support of websites and PDFs, creating pages and components, building new OUR-approved sites and design consultations.
