Supplies Grants are awarded on a competitive basis to undergraduate students doing research or creative scholarship. Applications are accepted three times per year (for research occurring in the Fall, Spring, and Summer).
Grants are up to $400. Priority will be given to students who have not yet a grant for the current academic year. If the funding is needed, students should apply as often as necessary since multiple grants may be awarded if funds allow.
Because of the source of this money, the following are unallowable costs:
- Student, faculty, or staff salary
- Reimbursement for previously purchased supplies
- Incentives or gifts for participants (e.g., gift cards or food for interviewees)
Travel grants should be used for any travel-related costs. These costs include but are not limited to travel to a field site, travel to a conference or workshop, conference registration.
