The Department of World Languages and Cultures is pleased to announce the establishment of the Nieka 'Sean' Wright Memorial Scholarship for Graduate Studies at UNCW.
This scholarship was established to honor UNCW alumnus Nieka “Sean” Wright (M.A. 2011) and his commitment to higher education and the study of foreign languages.
Recipients must be full-time students in the M.A. in Spanish program at UNCW. The award will be based on academic merit with a secondary consideration of financial need.
The scholarship will be awarded annually and the application is due by March 1. To apply, go to MySeaport > Student Services tab > “Apply for Scholarships” link. This is the university's general scholarship application and all Spanish MA students who have submitted FAFSA will be considered. There is not a separate application for this scholarship.
