Writing Circles & Coffee Hours

Assistant Professor Writing Circle

Wednesdays 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Veterans Hall 2009

Looking for protected time, structure, and community to support your writing? Join the Assistant Professor Writing Circle hosted by Dr. Megan Bolden, assistant professor in the School of Social Work. This small, supportive group is designed to help you make steady progress on manuscripts, grants, or other scholarly writing while connecting with peers who understand the demands of the early faculty years. Come write, share goals, and leave with momentum.

Faculty Writing Circle

Mondays 10-11:30 a.m., Veterans Hall 2009

Enjoy this designated time and location away from your office to concentrate on your writing needs. This is a wonderful time to elicit colleague feedback, outline and draft manuscripts, free yourself from office distractions, and share in peer-to-peer support.

Coffee and Coping

Wednesdays 9:30-11 a.m., Veterans Hall 2009

Take a break, share a cup, and connect. These casual coffee hours offer faculty a space to recharge, exchange ideas, and support one another in navigating the challenges of work and life.
