HR liaisons have a high degree of interaction with the Department of Human Resources. Their role is to relay important information to their respective departments.
HR liaisons attend bi-monthly meetings in which they share best practices, develop and improve processes and learn important information such as:
- Policy changes
- Benefits updates
- Employment procedures
- Classification and compensation updates
HR liaisons also get important news and reminders via email and are asked to share this information as applicable. It is important that liaisons are prompt in communicating HR news to their departments, as the information is generally time-sensitive.
