EPAF

EPAF is a Banner-delivered product that allows the UNCW to process job assignment actions for temporary employees in a decentralized manner. EPAF uses routing queues based on type of employee and assignment to electronically gathered approvals. This information is used to generate an employee’s timesheet and to ensure that the employee is paid timely and accurately.

EPAFs are used for pay assignments for:

Undergraduate student employees (UG)
Graduate student employees (GR), including course teaching
Temporary SHRA employees (TS)
Temporary EHRA non-faculty employees (TE)
Supplemental compensation for permanent employees that cannot go through FLAC (Faculty Load & Compensation)

EPAF Access for Originators and Approvers

All EPAF Originators (those entering Undergrad, Grad or Temp jobs in EPAF) must attend EPAF training prior to receiving access. EPAF Approvers are not required to attend training. For a list of upcoming training opportunities, please visit the:
