January 29, 2022: January Journeys
Join MarineQuest to kick off the New Year and discover the great migrations ocean animals undertake throughout their life. Uncover the pathways whales follow as the seasons change throughout the year and explore how animals like sea turtles use Earth’s magnetic field find their way home. Design your own hanging migration craft to remember this journey.

February 26, 2022: Starry Seas and Celestial Navigation
Have you ever wondered how early sailors navigated their way before GPS? Together we will explore how constellations, like Pisces, in the night sky guided nautical voyages. Construct your own constellation finder and build a working mariner’s astrolabe.

March 26, 2022: Making Waves with Green and Blue Energy
Did you know we live in a country where consumable products such as oil and gas power 85% of our lives? Join MarineQuest as we explore the benefits of harnessing sustainable energy. Discover all the ways in which the natural elements of air and water provide clean energy and are leading us to a more sustainable future; construct your very own wind turbine and see how we can use wind as a useful tool in going green!

April 23, 2022: Water, Water Everywhere
Water, water everywhere, the saying goes. Whether it comes from rainstorms, rivers, or the ocean, the Earth and humans need water to survive. Follow the journey of a water droplet through the water cycle and uncover the unique properties that makes this molecule so amazing as you compete in the water Olympics! Each participant will create their very own working water cycle in a bottle experiment.
