Why did you study Spanish?

I always had a passion for the Spanish language and culture, so when I met the Spanish faculty at UNCW, I was so excited! Each and every teacher I had was inspiring and made me love the language even more.

How do you use Spanish now?

I have been a Spanish teacher since graduating from UNCW. Currently, I'm teaching at South Brunswick Middle School in Southport. It's a great school and I love teaching my middle schoolers who, for the most part, have no prior knowledge of the Spanish language or culture.

Additionally, I am a real estate agent with Intracoastal Realty. I love helping people find their dream homes, and whenever I can help a Spanish-speaking client, my day is made!
