Why did you study Spanish?

I wanted to work towards developing my Spanish to obtain a Spanish speaking job after graduation.

How do you use Spanish now?

I work as a Career Adviser for a Youth program at the NCWorks Career Center. My job is fun because I am the only one that is bilingual so I am able to help all Spanish speaking clients that come into our office. I am also able to do outreach to the LatinX community to bring more Spanish speakers into this office and give them the support they need. My job specifically helps young adults between the ages of 18-24 that are overcoming an obstacle to their employment or education. I help my participants gain work experience and help enroll them in courses at CFCC.
