Why did you study Spanish?

I was already familiar with UNCW because I had been an international student there as a part of my bachelor's program at the University of Valencia and I really wanted to come back and become a Spanish professor in the US, so the MA in Spanish seemed like the right option to reach my goals.

How do you use Spanish now?

Although I still frequently use Spanish in my daily life with some of my friends and family members, my career path has actually taken a bit of a turn. Right now I am mostly working with my other native language, Valencian, as a translation and language promotion specialist at the Burjassot Town Hall in Burjassot, Spain. But teaching Spanish is something I would still really like to do in the future one day.
