Why did you study Spanish?

I have always been fascinated by languages and when I got to college I wanted to study a language that would be useful in the United States so I could make myself more marketable for future employers. Spanish was the clear winner.

How do you use Spanish now?

I currently work for a 501(c)(3) non-profit in Colorado Springs, Colorado that specializes in cannabinoid therapy. I educate Spanish-speaking clients both in the U.S. and internationally on how to use CBD, THC and other cannabinoids to treat their conditions and find a better quality of life. I am studying again to become a Nurse and hope to one day become a Nurse Practitioner so I can open a clinic that uses cannabinoid therapy and I can help my local community of Spanish speakers. I know how scary navigating a new healthcare system in a country that doesn't speak your language can be so I want to make my clinic a safe and welcoming place!
