Using the iPrint Driver How to Install iPrint Drivers
*The instructions below can be followed after you have installed the iPrint driver(s).You may need to download the iPrint driver if My Print Center does not meet your needs. If so, proceed to the How to Install iPrint Drivers instructions. Once installed, follow the instuctions below to use the iPrint driver on your computer.
- Step 1: Save or download your file.
We recommend that you save so that you will have a backup in the event you need to retrieve or reprint the file at a later date. - Step 2: Preview print.
Before sending a print request, use the "Print Preview" option under the "File" pulldown menu to assure that you print only the pages you desire. This is very useful when printing pages from a website, as you will be charged for the number of pages printed. - Step 3: Send print job to printer.
Send your document to the iPrint printer queue by pressing the "Print" icon or choosing the iPrint printer from the File > Print dropdown menu. - Step 4: Enter username.
Next, you will be asked to enter your username (which is your UNCW e-mail address WITHOUT the "@uncw.edu"). - Step 5: Name your print job.
Enter an easily identifiable name for your print job in the space provided so that you can locate it in your print queue on the iPrint station. - Step 6: Print or cancel.
After entering your information, select "Print." Once you select "Print," your job will be available for 24 hours. After the 24-hour period, your print file will be deleted.
