How to Become HUB- Certified

1. Create an account in the NC Electronic Vendor Portal  

2. Apply for HUB Certification with the State of NC:
   • Required Documents Checklist
   • Statewide Uniform Certification Application
   • Ethnicity Affidavit - if applicable
   • Disability Affidavit - if applicable

2. • NC Small Business Enterprise Program- if already HUB-Certified
   • HUB Reciprocity Application - if already certified in SC, GA, TN, or VA
   • DOT Reciprocity Application - if already certified by NC DOT as Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE)
   • HUB-Re-certification Application - must be renewed every 4 years
