Fees and Eligibility
Students taking main campus classes are automatically charged a Health Services Fee. The Health Services Fee is part of the fees that are automatically charged to your tuition bill each semester.
The student health fee covers:
- Unlimited visits with the SHC providers
- Limited SHC Psychiatric visits
- Visit with a Registered Dietitian
- Health Education Services and Programs
- Alcohol and other drug prevention and education programs
Nominal fees are charged in the SHC for:
- Laboratory testing
- Pap smears
- STI screening
- Physical exams for teaching, nursing, study abroad and pre-employment
- Vaccinations
- Allergy injections
- Office procedures (suturing, IV fluid EKGs, etc.).
The SHC does not bill third party insurance. Students pay at the time of their visit and receive a receipt which they can file with their insurance company.
The SHC makes every effort to keep these additional charges at a minimum.
