The minor was absolutely worth it! There are so many things that you will not be taught in a general curriculum not to mention the amount of self-awareness and societal awareness you will gain. The awareness and skills can be applied in future careers whether it's setting high expectations for yourself in a professional setting so you are treated fairly or welcoming minorities at your own workplace by recruiting and hiring them and creating an inclusive atmosphere.- WGS Alum
