Our Mission, Vision and Values

Mission

The Gender Studies and Research Center is an interdisciplinary and diverse community of students, scholars, and advocates committed to promoting social justice and equity for minoritized gender identities.

Vision

The GSRC operates as a collaborative space for research, programming, and services related to intersectional
women’s, gender, and sexuality studies. We empower students, scholars, and community members through research support and fellowships; engaging programming; and top-notch education.

Values

The GSRC has identified four values that lead our mission and work towards our vision. Every component of our work connects to at least one of these values:

Advocacy + Equity
Well-being + Health
