Science Olympiad
The UNCW Center For Education in Science, Tech, Engineering and Math will host the Wilmington Regional NC Science Olympiad tournament from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 9 in Trask Coliseum and Hanover Gym. The public is invited.
NCSO was established to attract and retain the state's K-12 students interested in STEM degrees and careers. Their tournaments are rigorous academic interscholastic competitions with hands-on, interactive, inquiry-based events balanced between biology, earth science, environmental science, chemistry, physics, engineering and technology.
