Academic Interests
Rory Laverty is a journalist who teaches reading and writing in a variety of forms, always with an emphasis on close textual analysis, dynamic writing and a Socratic-dialogue form of class discussion. His specialties and interests include the teaching of journalism, composition, contemporary nonfiction and American and English literature.
