Program Overview
The Maynooth University (MU) internship experience will provide Higher Education students with meaningful opportunities to engage in hands-on, applied experiences related to their professional goals and interests at an international institution. Some students will have the opportunity to practice administrative and leadership work, while other students will conduct assessment or research projects for student services units at MU. Historically, institutions of higher education in Europe have lacked the breadth of student support services provided at U.S. institutions of higher education, such as student activities, orientation, and disability services, among others. The growth of these services at an institution like MU will provide students with a unique opportunity to not only understand how services compare to those provided in the U.S., but to also analyze how services are developed and adapted to best serve unique institutional climates.
