Disability Resource Center

Welcome to the Disability Resource Center

The Disability Resource Center (DRC) at the University of North Carolina Wilmington is a department within the Division of Student Affairs.  The DRC assists in meeting the unique educational needs for students with documented disabilities by promoting equal access to all programs and services.  This enables eligible students to become integrated into campus life and become more successful, while maximizing their independence.

Eligible students who wish to seek support and accommodations through the DRC are required to enroll with the department.

    1. Student Portal: Log in to the DRC Student Portal using your UNCW email and password.
    2. Pre-Enrollment Registration: Complete the pre-enrollment registration form and upload any recent evaluations or documentation. For additional information regarding documentation, please visit: DRC Documentation Guidelines. Once submitted, DRC staff will review your documentation. You will either receive an email asking you to provide additional documentation or an email asking you to continue to Step 3: Schedule an Enrollment Meeting.
    3. Schedule an Enrollment Meeting: Log in to the DRC Student Portal and select "Schedule an Appointment." Be sure to select "Enrollment Meeting" as your meeting type and the format for the meeting (online via Zoom, or by phone). During this meeting, we will discuss your accommodations.
You are not considered enrolled with the DRC until you complete this meeting.
