Disability Resource Center

In response to UNCW's coronavirus (COVID-19) measures, DRC is suspending all face-to-face appointments until further notice.  DRC Staff will continue to schedule meetings online (Zoom) or by phone.  Students who have already completed the accommodation process with the DRC and are interested in meeting with a DRC staff member should use the DRC Student Portal to schedule an appointment and in the space provided, note (1) the best phone number at which to reach you, (2) the reason for the meeting, and (3) your preference for meeting (i.e. Zoom or phone). All other students, staff, faculty or members of the public may leave a voice message at (910)962-7555 or email for assistance at DRC@uncw.edu.

Updates on Novel Coronavirus (2019-nCOV) are available here.

Please find important information about returning to campus at the Best For the Nest web site!

Welcome to the Disability Resource Center

Students interested in connecting with the UNCW Disability Resource Center (DRC) and receiving accommodations should complete an online intake through the DRC Student Portal.  To access the portal, students must use their UNCW username (UNCW email address without "@uncw.edu") and UNCW password (email account password). The online intake will ask students specific information about their condition and how it affects them on campus and during the educational process. Students will also need to upload documentation that details their disability as well as the impacts of the disability. For additional information regarding documentation please visit DRC Documentation Guidelines.
