  • 7-Word Work-Life Motto for Teams

    About: In this team retreat, Melissa Cox can help your team get to know each other better by discovering what each team member identifies as their strengths, principles, and inspiration. Then, each team member will have an opportunity to craft a work-life motto.

    Facilitator: Melissa Cox

    Recommended Time: This is a great 30- to 45-minute team retreat activity. 

    This program is best for: Any size team interested in getting to know each other better.

  • Can You Hear Me Now?

    About: In this engaging team workshop, you’ll work together to explore effective communication and listening strategies while having a little fun (imagine a combination of the games Telephone, Pictionary & Taboo). The facilitator will guide your team through a series of communication challenges and activities. Then, we’ll wrap with a reflection and group discussion on effective communication specific to your team.

    Facilitator: Olivia Cunningham

    Recommended Time: This workshop can be done in 45-60 minutes. For a deeper dive into communication strategies, it can be extended to 90 minutes.

    This program is best for: Smaller teams (10 people or less) interested in sharing a laugh AND improving their internal communication.

  • Daring Leadership: Vulnerability. Values. Trust.

    About: Brené Brown describes daring leadership as a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, observable, and measurable: Rumbling with Vulnerability, Living into our Values, Braving Trust, and Learning to Rise. Along with Brené Brown’s book Dare to Lead, she has launched her free online Daring Leadership Assessment tool.

    Leaders will complete her assessment, reflect on the results and then be guided in a brainstorming process to identify next steps for those who wish to gauge their strengths and their opportunities for growth as a daring leader.

    Recommended Time: This program is best when given a minimum of 50 minutes. 

    This program is best for: Leadership teams. Individual leadership coaching is also available for this assessment.

  • Discovering Your Communication Style and Adapting It When Leading Others

    About: During this 90-minute seminar, participants will complete the free SELF Communication Style profile, reflect on the results, and then be guided in a brainstorming process to identify next steps as it relates to adapting their communication style and gaining the self-awareness of their own turn-offs when communicating with others. Participants will walk away with a self-designed communication plan to share with others in order to strengthen relationships in both good and challenging times.

  • The Disney Creative Strategy

    About: When it comes to creative planning, it can be hard to find the right way to transform imaginative thinking into concrete strategy. You need to dream big in order to come up with possible ways of solving a particular problem. At the same time, you need to be able to focus on the detail needed to put your plan into action successfully. Getting the right balance between these two aspects is a real challenge, but you can learn a lot about how to do just that from one man, who not only mastered the technique, but used it to create a legendary billion-dollar empire. In this interactive team seminar, we'll learn about the Disney Creative Strategy, and explore how your team can use it to realize your own ideas.

    Recommended Time: This program is best when given a minimum of 90 minutes. Opportunities for follow-up workshops available.

    This program is best for: Teams who want to try a new brainstorming/problem-solving strategy.

  • Get to Know You Gameshow

    About: The Get to Know You Gameshow is a friendly triva competition based on the members of your team! Prior to the gameshow, each team member will fill out a simple questionnaire (think "What's your favorite food?" or "What's the best book you've ever read?"). Gameshow questions and promopts will be based on each individual's answers - you may discover something about your teammates that surprises you! 

    Facilitator: Olivia Cunningham

    Recommended Time: This program can be done in 30-45 minutes.

    This program is best for: Any team interested in learning more about one another - great for teams with new members.

  • Leading with Grit and Emotional Intelligence

    About: Why grit? Angela Duckworth’s research demonstrated that anyone striving to succeed—be it parents, students, educators, administrators—it is not dependent on talent but a special blend of passion and persistence she calls “grit” and discovered that talent is hardly a guarantor of success.

    Complementing Duckworth’s findings, Daniel Goleman’s emotional intelligence (EQ) research revealed that self-awareness, self-regulation and relationship management are what equips humans to maintain their cool when stakes are high. 

    Leaders will take two free assessments (Emotional Intelligence Quiz and Angela Duckworth’s Grit Scale Assessment), reflect on the results, and then brainstorm next steps with others as it relates to strengthening one’s own emotional intelligence and grit.

  • Leading and Leveraging Standout Strengths

    About: In response to the COVID-19 global health crisis, Marcus Buckingham, ADP ®, and Harvard Business Publishing have created “The Gift of StandOut ®.” During this 90-minute seminar, participants will complete the free strengths assessment, reflect on the results, and then be guided in a brainstorming process to identify next steps as it relates to applying their strengths and leveraging them for their own personal wellbeing and the success of the team in these challenging times.

    Facilitator: Molly Nece

    Recommended Time: This program is best when given a minimum of 90 minutes. 

    This program is best for: Leadership teams. Individual leadership coaching is also available for this assessment.

  • Meeting Fun

    About: Are you out of ideas on how to add some fun to your team meetings? Facilitator Melissa Cox will meet with you to brainstorm some ideas that will engage your team and then facilitate the chosen activity in your next team meeting.

    Recommended Time: Varies based on chosen activity - usually 15-30 minutes. 

    This program is best for: Groups that meet regularly and seeking ways to add engagement to their meetings.

  • Strengths of the Team

    About: American Professional Basketball Executive, Phil Jackson said “The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team." This team workshop is a great way to discover each team member's individual strengths (with CliftonStrengths Assessment) and, together, explore how the team can build on their innate talent.

    Facilitator: Melissa Cox and/or Olivia Cunningham

    Recommended Time: This program is best when given a minimum of 90 minutes (longer for larger teams). 

    This program is best for: Teams of any size.
