Employee Coaching Services
What is coaching?
Coaching is a partnership between a UNCW employee and a coach. Your coach is dedicated to a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires you to maximize your professional potential.
When can coaching help?
If you find yourself asking any of the following questions, coaching may be right for you:
- How can I manage my time better to achieve all I want?
- What do I want to do next in my career?
- How can I reduce the stress in my job?
- How can I achieve a better balance between work, life, and home?
- What skills do I need to grow and develop further? (Ask about our four part Talent Development Planning program.)
- How can I improve my relationship with a co-worker?
- How can I make changes or improve processes?
- How do I build or strengthen my team?
What is a coach's responsibility?
- Discover, clarify, and align with what the employee wants to achieve
- Encourage employee self-discovery
- Elicit employee-generated solutions and strategies
- Hold the employee responsible and accountable
