Peer Coaching Signature Program

Peer Coaching & Communication Signature Program

Do you want to become a resource to your teammates and campus colleagues? Are you interested in learning how to strategically help someone work through a challenge, come up with ideas, or create a talent development plan? With your supervisor’s approval, Employee Leadership, Learning and Engagement can help!

What is it?

Peer coaching is a confidential process through which two or more professional colleagues work together to reflect on current practices; expand, refine, and build new skills; share ideas; teach one another; conduct research; or solve problems.

This series of workshops equips UNCW employees with a peer coaching model, through which they'll gain strategies, tools and skills to be a peer coach. Typically this program is offered as a series of 3 workshops at 3 hours each. However, due to COVID-19, Fall 2020 specific dates and times will be determined by the cohort's availability.

Who should join?

If you are someone who is looking to develop your interpersonal communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills so that you can help those around you, then this program is for you.
