Community Outreach Signature Program

Community Outreach Signature Program

Do you enjoy serving the community? Are you looking for ways to be more intentional and involved in the university’s mission, vision and values? With your supervisor’s approval, Employee Leadership, Learning and Engagement can help!

What is it?

This year-long program equips employees to build new relationships, gain an understanding of our community’s needs, and share their talents or interests with others. The signature program begins with a 30-minute introductory consult with Michel Shackelford, HR's coordinator for Community Service Leave related programming.  After the introductory consult, it is the employee's responsibility to self-monitor and complete all the milestones within the established timeline.

Who should join?

If you are someone who already finds yourself giving back to your community or would like to do more, this signature program is right for you. It is encouraged, but not required, that you invite a colleague to apply as well so you can help one another meet your desired level of achievement.

What are the program requirements?
