About Us

The Center for Support of Undergraduate Research and Fellowships (CSURF) is a resource to coordinate opportunities and information related to UNCW undergraduate research and scholarship. In addition, CSURF manages the application and nomination process for national competitive scholarships and fellowships for undergraduates. The Honors College oversees CSURF, but CSURF resources are open to all UNCW students.

Find information here on how to develop a scholarly project in your major area, how to apply for funding to carry out your project or present your research at a conference, and how to present your project to a professional audience.Learn more about national competitive scholarships and fellowships and how to apply for them.

CSURF is housed in the Honors College Office in Randall Library, second floor, and is advised by the CSURF Faculty Advisory Board.
