New Students

Welcome to the UNCW MSA Class of 2023!!!

On this page you will find the “next steps” to finalize your admission to the program. Please submit the below forms and complete the necessary actions by June 15th to be eligible for scholarship and graduate assistantship awards.

1. If you have not already, please pay the $50 enrollment fee to save your seat in the class. UNCW undergraduate students and active duty military are eligible to waive this fee. Please see the Graduate School’s instructions for this process here. Select: “I plan to attend”, then look for the “enrollment deposit” tab.

3. Registration will open for Fall classes on May 18th at 9am.

Registration will be discussed at length during the Admitted Students Event

Registration takes place through Seanet. You will register for 6 MSA courses (MSA 505, MSA 508, MSA 516, MSA 518, MSA 526 and MSA 528). Advising sessions are not necessary as everyone takes the same courses in the fall. If you are a “bootcamp” student or need to finish any prerequisite courses please reach out to me to confirm those courses. The two fall prerequisite courses are ACG 470-Audit and ACG 471-Advanced Managerial. Please direct any questions about registration to Diane Hogan.

4. New Student Forms and Graduate Assistantship Interest: The link below will allow you to access these forms. Please complete these forms electronically by June 15th.

5. All students are required to have a professional photo taken. The final session we are offering is Wednesday, June 8^th from 11am-1pm in CH 231.

6. All students are required to submit a resume following our program template. Click on “Resume Template and Examples” and “How to Submit Resume” links below for guidance. All resumes must be submitted by July 1st.

7. ALEKS: ALEKS is an online financial accounting review program that will be available for all incoming MSA students. Details about the program will be discussed during the Admitted Students Event.
