Jordan Weber, Ed.D., M.Ed., A.B.D., Lecturer

Jordan WeberJordan Weber's teaching career began in 2007 in Western New York at the Jewish Community Center as a physical activity coordinator at Camp Centerland. He moved to North Carolina in 2008 and began teaching as an elementary after school teacher and teacher assistant aid. From 2009 to 2012, he was a substitute, intern, and interim teacher in many schools in New Hanover County. He has also held positions in personal training, group training, and yoga education programs.

Dr. Weber's higher education teaching career in the School of Health and Applied Human Sciences began in 2010 in as a mentor “I Can Do It, You Can Do It” adapted physical activity program. In 2012, he began teaching as an adjunct lecturer. Since 2012, he has been coordinating service-learning projects in the community to connect college students with public school students with and without disabilities. In 2017, he was named lecturer of Physical Education and Health.

Dr. Weber earned his undergraduate degrees from the The College at Brockport, State University of New York in Physical Education. He earned his teacher certification from UNC Wilmington as a transfer student. Soon after, he earned a master's degree in Health Education and Promotion from East Carolina University. Dr. Weber completed his Doctorate in Educational Leadership at Watson College of Education in 2018.
