Monthly Coffee Hour Events
Coffee Hour events have been a popular way to facilitate development of interprofessional teams. These monthly events invite faculty across campus and community partners to come together informally to discuss a common research interest (e.g., diabetes prevention; global health; sexual health; domestic violence).
At coffee hours, attendees have an opportunity to share current projects and needs related to collaborators. Relevant RFPs are shared to guide possibilities for future funding. To follow-up from these events, an email distribution list is created so participants can continue to communicate about collaboration opportunities, share resources, and work together.
