School of Nursing Receives Accreditation from CCNE

05/19 - In May, the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) granted the School of Nursing accreditation for its Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing and Post-Graduate APRN Certificate programs for 10 years. Additionally, CCNE granted accreditation to the Doctor of Nursing Practice Program for five years.

“Our faculty and staff’s outstanding teamwork, dedication and foresight have made our school succeed in renewing our accreditation,” School of Nursing Director Linda Haddad said. “Thanks to the dedication and commitment of all my colleagues who assisted with this process.”

Dr. Charles Hardy, dean of the College of Health and Human Services, echoed Dr. Haddad’s sentiments, saying "Congratulations to the faculty, staff and students of the School of Nursing. The news of the CCNE accreditation speaks to the high quality of our School of Nursing programs. This accreditation affirms our School of Nursing is engaged in effective educational practices.”
