Supporting Youth in the Transition to Adulthood: Haiti and Beyond

A virtual international conference focusing on the transition from adolescence to young adulthood in Haiti and in other countries.

Topics include: 
  • Meeting the health care needs of emerging adults in a resource-poor environment
  • Education and training for transition success
  • Assessment and planning for transition to adulthood
  • Meeting the mental health needs of transition-aged youth
  • Family and the parent-child relationship
  • Influence of spirituality on mental health and well being
  • Continued care for those raised in orphanages
  • Harnessing the power of sports, recreation, and culture during the transition to adulthood
  • Job training and readiness

A total of seven (7) contact hours of continuing education credits will be awarded for completing the entire conference.
