Racial Trauma and the Ethics of Cultural Humility in Play Therapy with Kadesha Adelakun, LCSW, RPT-S, PMH-C

Kadesha Adelakun, owner and director of The Journey Counseling Services, is a licensed clinical social worker in Georgia, New Jersey and Florida and is a registered play therapist -s supervisor. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Morris Brown College, a Master of Social Work from the University of Georgia, and a perinatal mental health certification. 
 
Using play therapy, Journey Counseling Services helps children and adolescents who have a hard time appropriately expressing themselves and talking to people about what is troubling them. 
 
Three contract hours offered for social workers (ETHICS CEUs). Open to students, field instructors, faculty, and staff .
