On-Campus Interviews

Signing up for On-Campus Interviews

  • On Campus Interviews: Follow this Handshake Guide for step by step instructions on how to view and sign up for an on campus interview with an employer.
  • Master of Science in Accountancy: Follow this MSA Handshake Guide for step by step instructions on how to view apply and sign up for on campus interviews as well as MSA mock interviews.
  • Cameron Executive Network Mock Interview Program: For each class participating in mock interviews, the Career Center will send a document to the professor outlining exactly how to upload a resume and how to apply to sign up for a mock interview in Handshake. This document will also include key dates specific to the class.

No-Show Policy

Students are expected to inform the Career Center if they are no longer able to participate in a scheduled interview with an employer. Students are required to call or email the Career Center as soon as possible whether to cancel or to try to reschedule the interview. Professionalism and accountability are highly valued by the Career Center as well as by the employers we partner with. It is important to respect the recruiters time as well as open up the spot for another student who could potentially interview.

No showing to an interview with an employer is unprofessional and reflects poorly on the student as well as UNCW. Our relationship with employers is very important and no shows can negatively affect opportunities on campus for other UNCW students.

If a student does no show to an interview with an employer that student will be required to write a letter of apology to the recruiter. The student's Handshake account will be suspended until the apology letter has been received.
