At the request of Chancellor Jose V. Sartarelli, the Campus Climate Work Group (now the Chancellor's Campus Climate Committee) was charged to make recommendations to the university’s senior leadership to implement initiatives and/or policies to improve and monitor progress toward maintaining a more inclusive and welcoming campus.The Campus Climate Committee is one of several of the Chancellor's advisory committees.

This committee is currently being restructured. 


The Seahawk Respect Compact Reauthorization Ceremony was April 2, 2019 in the Clock Tower Lounge, Fisher Student Center. Campus leaders reaffirmed the university's commitment to an open and respectful learning and working environment during the Seahawk Respect Compact Reauthorization Ceremony during the Student Government Association's and Student Ambassador's DIVE IN (Diversity, Inclusivity, Validity, Expression, Impact, Nonjudgement) Week.
