In the event of a severe weather emergency UNCW utilizes several communication tools, such as the university homepage and UNCW Alert website, social media and the UNCW Alert hotline (910-962-3991).The Office of Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) encourages faculty, staff and students to register for UNCW Alert mass phone calls and text messages, which are sent during urgent situations.
