Teach at the Community College Level

This graduate-level certificate is designed for early childhood professionals who would like to teach early childhood education in North Carolina Community Colleges. 

The program's 18 credit hours are offered online to accommodate working professionals. They prepare you to effectively share your knowledge and lead early childhood professionals to improve the quality of teaching in early childhood programs.

Students in the Leadership, Advocacy, and Policy in Early Childhood, M.Ed. program can take these courses as part of their degree program. In addition, the program is valuable for early childhood professionals who already hold a master’s degree in early childhood or a related field and would like to teach in a community college educator preparation program.
