Program Overview

Inspiring Gifted Students

This program is designed for certified K-12 teachers and education leaders seeking to improve their knowledge and expertise in the field of AIG. The program will prepare you to design and deliver effective programs and services for gifted and talented students.

Program graduates will be able to design curriculum and programs, advocate for gifted students, and deliver instruction that meets the broad spectrum of exceptional needs of gifted and talented students and helps students achieve their potential. The program offers Strong preparation for effective teaching and leadership.

Earn Add-on Licensure and a Master’s Degree

Program participants will complete 33 hours of coursework and develop a teaching portfolio. Courses are offered entirely online in half-term sessions during the fall and spring semesters to accommodate the schedules of practicing teachers. Successful completion of the program will prepare you for the Academically or Intellectually Gifted Add-on Licensure to your current license, as well as a master’s degree.
