Complete applications are reviewed by an Admissions Committee and the Graduate Coordinator. Applications are evaluated on the basis of academic merit, career-related experiences including clinical or research experience, potential for graduate study, and fit within program areas of expertise.
Every application submitted during our application window will receive fair and equal consideration. Selected applicants are generally invited to for interviews in late January. Thus, having a complete application by the priority deadline is important.
The interview process occurs over two days and involves meeting with current graduate students, the graduate coordinator, and potential faculty advisors. Prospective students have a chance to tour campus, the Psychology Research labs and offices, and learn about the program.
