Medical device sales is a highly competitive and demanding field that has increasingly large earning potential. Medical device sales reps sell medical devices to doctors, surgeons, and other medical professionals. Depending on the type of medical device, sales reps do everything from visiting hospitals or doctors' offices to give presentations on their products, to standing in operating rooms during procedures to ensure doctors are using their devices correctly.

A pharmaceutical sales representative meets with physicians and other medication-prescribing professionals on evolutions in the pharmaceutical industry. They will meet with doctors to educate them about new drugs and treatments that will allow them to provide exceptional and advanced care to their patients.
Software sales reps work for technology based companies and are responsible for selling the company's software to other businesses, professionals, and/or consumers. This role is typically a combination of inside and outside sales, involving cold calling, meeting with potential clients, presenting software demo's and closing sales. 
Enterprise sales executives work in business-to-business sales and are responsible for selling to and managing their company's largest customers. The income earning potential for enterprise sales executives is typically higher than any other sales roles, because of the high pressure stakes of dealing with important clients.
A realtor is someone who works in the real estate industry representing buyers, sellers, or both. With every property buy or sell, they make a percentage of commission on the sales price. As a selling agent, realtors handle everything from listing and marketing homes and commercial spaces, to hosting open houses, and managing closing paperwork. As a buyer's agent, realtors help their clients find properties, negotiate offers, and close the sale.
