Percussion

Department of Music audition requirements for percussion instruments are as follows.

Audition Requirements

Applicants should prepare one solo in each of the following three percussion categories: snare drum, timpani, and mallet keyboard. Also expected will be major scales and sight-reading in one category of your choice.

The following repertoire is encouraged but not required. Substitutions of equal difficulty and style are welcome. 

Snare Drum:
