From the time you apply until you complete your degree, you’ll have a dedicated advisor ready to answer questions, help you make important educational decisions, and navigate on your journey to your future career. Advisors in the Student Success Center provide mentoring and support for undergraduate students. Faculty members in each field of study serve as advisors for graduate students.

How to Apply

Undergrad Programs Admission to UNCW and the Watson College of Education is a two-step process. The first step is admission to the university. The second step is admission to the Watson College. Students apply to Watson during their second or third year at UNCW. Transfer students apply during their first or second semester at UNCW. Apply to UNCW
Graduate Programs Students interested in graduate programs apply through UNCW’s Graduate School. For most programs, you will need to submit an application, and provide official transcripts of college work, professional recommendations and a letter of interest. Some programs also require the GRE. Minors and Certificates UNCW students interested in minor programs should consult with your advisor or contact the program coordinator for more information. To declare a minor, log onto MySeaport, select the “Major Declaration/Curriculum Updates” link and follow the instructions provided. Visit MySeaport
