International MBA

Two universities + two countries = two masters degrees in a year and a half. The International MBA is a unique masters program combining travel, adventure, and culture with a profound academic experience.

IBSA - International Business School Alliance is comprised of four partner universities. The universities are located in France, Germany, Spain, and the USA.

IMBA Semester Overview

Semester 3 - Thesis

All partner schools offer the same core of MBA courses with an international focus. In the first semester, participants will complete 12 semester hours at UNCW.

  • Human Resource Management in the Global Environment
  • Business Analytics
  • Global Operations Management

Should you select Finance as your specialization, you will take the following courses at UNCW:

  • Portfolio Analysis and Management I - Equity
  • Portfolio Analysis and Management II - Fixed Income
  • Portfolio Analysis and Management III - Derivatives and Financial Risk Management
  • Financial Management
  • Financial Statement Analysis
  • International Real Estate Investment

The final program requirement is to write a thesis in your area of specialization. Students at UNCW will take the following courses in conjunction and preparation for the thesis:

  • Econometrics
  • Financial Research Methods
  • Capstone Project
